Hi,

http://www.netbsd.org/docs/guide/en/chap-boot.html has,
sparc2$ export PKG_PATH="http://ftp.NetBSD.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/<PORT>/<RELEASE-NUMBER>/All"
sparc2$ export PKG_PATH

Shouldn't it be this?
sparc2$ PKG_PATH="http://ftp.NetBSD.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/<PORT>/<RELEASE-NUMBER>/All"
sparc2$ export PKG_PATH

I did
sparc2$ PKG_PATH="http://ftp.NetBSD.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/sparc/6.1/All"
sparc2$ export PKG_PATH

In http://www.netbsd.org/developers/cvs-repos/cvs_intro.html#install-cvs
the orange link "CVS" gives this.
550 /pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc/devel/scmcvs/README.html: No such file or directory.

Also I got this.
sparc2$ pkg_add -v cvs
pkg_add: no pkg found for 'cvs', sorry.

Many packages in the full list have "cvs" in the name. Can CVS be
installed with just one pkg_add command?

Thanks, ... Peter E.

CVS is included in the base NetBSD distribution. It’s not necessary to install it from pkgsrc.
